Ingredients
1 oz Cut Above Whiskey
1 oz Your favorite Whiskey
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz nonalcoholic aperitivo
1/2 oz Fig infused syrup
2 shakes nonalcoholic lemon bitters
Glass & Garnish
Lowball glass
Halved fig
Method
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake and double strain over ice filled lowball glass. Garnish with a halved fig.
*Fig Syrup:
Heat a 1:1 ration of water to sugar to low simmer and stir continuously to prevent burning. Add 5 figs per 1/2 cup of water. Simmer for 5 min then strain and let cool.
Alternate way to make low-proof is to use only Cut Above Whiskey and an alcoholic aperitivo.
